Primarily deliver services to organisations:We work with other voluntary and community groups. We also provide payroll services to individual clients with special needs.

Areas of specialism:We give support and advice to groups on bookkeeping.  We provide groups with templates to follow explaining how to set up basic financial systems manually. Our payroll service offers advice on issues such as SMP, SSP, Redundancy, holiday pay, general employment matters and other such issues.

• Independent examinations.
• Our services are targeted at voluntary and community groups only. 
• We charge for our services but at reasonable rates, only seeking to cover our costs.

How support is delivered:Mostly clients are advised to make an appointment as all staff work on a part time basis.  However, this is not essential as we can accommodate clients who drop in on the first Wednesday of every month from 12.00pm to 2.00pm.

Number of groups seen in the last 12 months [to June 2006]:Approximately 93 groups.

Additional capacity to support more groups? Yes.Currently we do have the capacity to take on more work in our payroll department.  We can take on more work in our finance department but only with organisations that are willing and able to work closely with us to provide the relevant information to manage their accounts Number of staff are involved in work specifically with voluntary and community groups: 3
